On Thursday, February 3, 2022, six TOP elementary schools met virtually with Adriana Trigiani to celebrate the publication of her new children’s book, The House of Love.  Students not only asked Trigiani questions about her main character, Mia Valentina, but also pitched their own stories and spoke of Valentine’s day celebrations in their own families.

As an in-school writing program, The Origin Project encourages students to explore their own imaginations and commit their ideas to paper.  During the webinar, students shared their writing and enjoyed interactions with Trigiani and TOP co-founder, Nancy Bolmeier Fisher.  From stories of dragons and rodeo riders to adventurous dogs and horses, students demonstrated tremendous imagination and respect for the craft of writing and illustrating.
