In the second of three virtual author events in 2021, The Origin Project welcomed author/illustrator Christopher Browne via Zoom webinar on October 28.  Browne, the author and illustrator of the Marlo series of children’s books and his most recent Strong as Stone, answered student questions about his creative process.  Browne told students he began sketching out his ideas as a young boy growing up in a Massachusetts farming community.  Students enjoyed listening to Browne tell the story of how a pitiful, stray pit bull became his beloved canine companion and the hero in Browne’s first children’s book.  Many students were familiar with little Marlo and had read Strong as Stone in anticipation of meeting Browne.
